WDC Investigation

Dear Citizens of Watertown,

Coming soon will be video and documents that prove beyond a shadow of a doubt an intent by multiple representatives of the Watertown Development Corporation to extort $118,000 from my business, NT Sales and Leasing, Inc.

The attempted extortion was to conduct a hardball “negotiation” on a lease option to purchase contract we had with WDC in order to make us settle for a significant but lesser amount.

After further investigation, we were told by accountants working with WDC that the WDC was out of money, that most likely the WDC didn’t pay the principle on state loans, and the WDC needed to bring significant money to closing.

IN ORDER TO CLOSE ON OUR OPTION OF TO PURCHASE CONTRACT, IT APPEARS THE WDC CHOSE TO TRY TO EXTORT US OUT OF MONEY.

This would be motive and intent to commit a fraud.

We have further discovered that members of WDC had a handshake agreement to negotiate with a third party on land that was already contracted and committed to us. While we don’t know the extent of this agreement, it is likely related to the “hardball negotiation” conducted by members of the WDC.

We have acquired written emails from Persona personnel and WDC that a side agreement between WDC and Persona/Store Capital existed to pressure us into submission.

This appears to be fraud, extortion, and conspiracy to commit fraud and extortion.

Extortion, fraud, and conspiracy to commit fraud and extortion are felonies.

My run for state House is to tell people about fraud and corruption – and how it works.

This type of behavior has no place in Watertown.
